Lisa Baylis is a high school counsellor and leader in positive education and mindfulness in schools. She has been sharing well-being strategies for the last 20 years as an instructor, a counsellor, a facilitator, and a mother. Trained by mindful self-compassion pioneers Chris Germer and Kristin Neff, Lisa is also a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and author of Self-Compassion for Educators. She is founder and co-leader, with Stephanie Curran, of the year-long Mindfulness For Educators online program, as well as leading AWE (Awaken Well-Being for Educators) retreats. Lisa lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
