Angela's journey into meditation began at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, where she explored contemplative education and enriched her identity as a poet and writer. During her MFA in Creative Writing at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, she immersed herself in Dharma teachings, integrating movement into her creative process. In 2013, Angela traveled to Lithuania to research Holocaust and trauma narratives for her Ph.D. proposal, merging memory and mindfulness. Upon her return, she focused on using meditation to heal trauma survivors. Her practice deepened during her second MFA program at NYU Paris, where she experienced a profound kundalini awakening in 2014. After transitioning from the entertainment industry in 2015, Angela dedicated herself to trauma-focused healing, completing thousands of hours of mindfulness-based coursework. She is a member of the International Mindfulness Teacher's Association (IMTA). At Winona, Angela serves as Head of PR and leads the Winona Corporate Wellness Education initiative, supporting women through perimenopause and menopause in the workplace. She is also an accomplished writer, passionate about empowering women and individuals to share their stories. Currently, Angela is working on a book-length meditation of poems about memory and surrender. She shares heart-centered meditations in Los Angeles, embodying her mission to cultivate mindful self-compassion and guide individuals from fear to unconditional love.
